I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard a mama express concern of whether or not her child will cooperate during photos. I always assure mom that a photo session with me is kind of like a playdate in nice clothes.

Kids, especially toddlers, are my FAVORITE to photograph. In fact, I tend to relate best to those rowdy and unruly ones who really want nothing to do with the camera.

Why, you ask? Let me introduce you to exhibit A and B. My own kids. You see, I’ve been working with this audience for 7 years.

But through my experience with my own children, I’ve learned first-hand how to get the real giggles out of the little ones. And, spoiler alert, it’s not begging them to look at my camera and smile!

I have lots of tricks up my sleeve that is sure to bring out those true, genuine smiles from even the toughest subjects — kids!
